Dyna Glo Signature Series DGSS1382VCS-D Grill Review

Nowadays smoked meat and barbecue have become astonishingly popular with everyone. There were some people who have gone so far as to develop their own backyard smokers from metal containers or old oil drums. Yet regrettably, the use of seals in this large scrap metal unit leads to leaks and its thermic performance is really poor.

The Diana-Glow DGSS1372 VVS-D vertical charcoal smoker produces five chrome-plated grates in the "smoke zone" chamber with pre-installed chrome-plated sausage hooks in the top section. Portability 

This smoker designs a tiny footprint and weighs analogously less than 125 pounds. Its wheels are large and it is positioned in the middle of the smoker, which makes it comfortable to maintain weight balance while walking. It has a metal handle on the side of the smoke chamber that will warm up, but it is helpful because it is opposite the firebox. 

Grilling Performance

There were some strengths and some feebleness you face in its performance. While they designed the grill to let you grill while you smoke, it’s not perfect. Because anytime you start the firebox container to grill, you are wasting fire intended for the Smoke Zone, vertical container. 

Grilling Areas 

The Dyna-Glo DGSS1382 VCS-D covers all of the five smoke zones. Moreover,  the vertical charcoal smoker delivers 1832 square feet of cooking space. The Charcoal smoker doesn't account for the vertical sausage hooks installed in the upper part of the vertical Chamber. 

Unique Feature 

It has a slide-out charcoal box so you can reload charcoal, wood chips, and even cut-down pieces of wood into it which is great for the user. If you want to make your own homemade link sausage, sausage hooks are also an excellent touch. 

Easy to clean 

Dripping in vertical smoking chambers can be a problem if they handle past or overfill in the water/dripping pot. Placing the meat carefully in the center of each rock will help reduce the chances of your event happening.

The charcoal pan pulled out of its firebox is removable. And it will really help you to dispose of the ashes.

Dyna Glo has a one-year limited warranty standard on all their smokers.

The Bottom Line 

This smoker is created well. It had no issues with color flaking and firing off. Overall it's an excellent smoker and we would suggest it to anyone seeing for a great backyard smoker.
